BRAVE LITTLE FLYER
Mommy takes me to JFK
And puts me on a plane
Daddy waits for me in LA
Last Christmas was the same
Call me the Brave Little Flyer
Captain of my own air force
But all that I can think of
Is why did they divorce?
This Brave Little Flyer will be lifted up
Daddy will pick me up with a swing
Flying with one parent in circles
Well that’s like flying on just one wing
Far below there’s a city
Looks like Christmas lights
All those happy children
Must be snuggled in tight
Cruising at this altitude
High above the Great Divide
This tiny little moving star
Has no place for me to hide
This Brave Little Flyer will be lifted up
Daddy will pick me up with a swing
Flying with one parent in circles
Well that’s like flying on just one wing
Flight attendant takes a look
I hide behind my airplane book
Close my eyes pretend I’m sleeping
I don’t want her too see me weeping
If I were in the pilots seat
If it we were me in control
I would fly this big old bird
Right up to the North Pole
I’ll see the real Santa Clause
I won’t ask for any toys
Just bring my mom and daddy back
Together for this boy
This Brave Little Flyer will be lifted up
Mom and dad will each take a hand
Flying with your parents together
Well that’s like never having to land.
